Protekt® Aire 6000 XL - Extra Long Low Air Loss Mattress System
The Protekt® Aire 6000 XL combines low-air-loss and alternating-pressure therapy in a 36 x 84 x 8-inch mattress system with a deluxe digital pump and cell-on-cell support base. The 84-inch length is designed for users who need extra mattress length. Maximum weight capacity: 450 lb.
Customizable therapy and pump features
The LED touch panel offers four alternating cycles (10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes) to support clinician-directed therapy. Seat-inflate mode helps maintain support when the patient is in a Fowler position, while Max Firm mode helps inflate the mattress quickly. Static mode provides a firm surface for getting into or out of bed and for seated use at the mattress edge. Audible and visual alarms indicate low pressure, power failure or alternating failure.
Cell-on-cell mattress and cover
The cell-on-cell design uses a one-way valve to retain air in the lower 4 inches of the cells during a power failure. Eighteen laser-cut holes support low-air-loss airflow. The quilted nylon top cover is fluid-resistant and antimicrobial/antibacterial, and the pillow-top feature helps limit unnecessary head and neck movement during alternating mode.
