Pride Victory 10 SC610 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter - Candy Apple Red
This listing selects the Candy Apple Red finish for the Victory 10. The color option changes its appearance, while the model configuration and operating characteristics described below remain those of this exact parent model.
This FDA Class II medical device is designed to aid individuals with mobility impairments. Specifications may change, and speed and range vary with rider load, terrain and battery condition. HCPCS references do not guarantee reimbursement.
A full-size scooter with three-wheel maneuverability
The Victory 10 SC610 combines a 400-pound capacity and 10-inch solid tires with the tighter steering of a three-wheel chassis. Its 42-inch turning radius is useful when a full-size scooter must also negotiate indoor routes, while the 45.25-inch length and 22.25-inch width provide a more substantial platform than a small travel scooter. The balance is capacity and everyday comfort, not minimum packing weight.
This three-wheel model does not use the four-wheel Victory's EZ Turn arrangement. Its single front wheel produces the maneuvering advantage directly, which makes deliberate cornering and route choice important. A tighter turn is useful in accessible indoor spaces; it is not an invitation to take corners quickly or cross uneven slopes that would challenge the scooter's balance.
Transportable components can still be heavy
Pride's feather-touch disassembly makes vehicle transport possible without lifting the complete scooter, but the front section still weighs 54 pounds. The standard seat adds a separate 28-pound lift. For a rider who cannot comfortably handle those components at the vehicle's cargo height, a compatible lift or assistance may be the practical transport solution despite the scooter's ability to separate.
Weight without batteries is 133 pounds. With standard U1 batteries, the assembled total is approximately 181 pounds; with the optional 40Ah batteries, it is 197 pounds. These are different transport configurations. Larger batteries add carrying weight as well as energy storage, so compare the selected setup with the vehicle equipment and the loading routine rather than assuming every Victory 10 has the same total weight.
A seat that can be positioned, not merely sat on
The standard 18-by-17-inch seat has an eight-position swivel and sliders. Swiveling helps align the seat for a transfer or a table, while sliding changes the distance from the cushion to the controls. Seat-to-deck height ranges from 17.5 to 19 inches. Evaluate the combined adjustment, keeping the feet supported and the steering within comfortable reach rather than selecting each setting in isolation.
Optional high-back and alternative-size seats are separate choices; the ordinary folding seat should not be described as every available captain's-chair option. The wraparound delta tiller and easy-grip angle knob help position the hands. A tiller-mounted charging port makes everyday access easier, and the visible battery meter helps monitor charge state without promising a precise remaining mileage.
Battery planning and predictable stopping
Pride publishes range up to 15.5 miles and speed up to 5.3 mph. The range remains conditional on rider load, terrain, stopping patterns and battery condition. Keep reserve for the return journey and do not assume the optional battery upgrade produces a particular distance unless that result applies to the selected configuration. Two standard U1 batteries and the optional 40Ah pair are distinct equipment choices.
The specified off-board chargers differ by battery option: 3.5 amps for the U1 arrangement and 5 amps for 40Ah. Use the charger intended for the installed batteries. Regenerative and electromechanical braking are specified, so learn the response when reducing drive input and stopping before using crowded entrances. Regular charging and a deliberate low-speed approach to pedestrians are more useful than planning around the top speed.
Useful standard equipment, without suspension
A front basket and LED pathway headlight are standard, making errands practical without adding storage before the first trip. Mirrors, rear baskets, holders and larger seating belong to the accessory or upgrade decision. The 10-inch non-scuffing solid tires avoid routine inflation checks and can handle ordinary paved-route irregularities, but the chassis has no suspension to isolate repeated bumps.
Ground clearance is 2.2 inches at the motor and only 1.26 inches at the anti-tip area, even though the side deck sits higher. Those low points matter at thresholds and abrupt transitions. Choose maintained paving and accessible routes rather than loose-ground shortcuts or curb climbing. The three-wheel Victory 10 is most convincing when its capacity, adjustable seating and turning room suit the rider, and its substantial component weights are supported by a realistic vehicle-loading plan.
