Proactive Protekt Aire 6400 Mattress System
The Protekt® Aire 6400 combines low-air-loss and alternating-pressure therapy in one mattress system with a deluxe digital pump. The LED touch panel offers four alternating cycles (10, 15, 20 and 25 minutes) to customize therapy. Seat-inflate mode helps protect the patient in the Fowler position, Max Firm mode supports quick inflation, and Static mode provides firm support for transfers or sitting at the mattress edge. Audible and visual alarms indicate low pressure, power failure and alternating failure.
Mattress and cover
The 36 x 80 x 8-inch mattress has 18 laser-cut holes for low-air-loss ventilation, a fluid-resistant antimicrobial/antibacterial quilted nylon cover, and a pillow-top feature to help limit head and neck movement during alternating mode. An 84-inch length and optional foam raised rails are also available.
Use and care
Have the patient's clinician select the appropriate support surface and settings. Follow the owner's manual for setup, alarm response, transfers, cleaning, and compatibility with the bed frame and rails.
