VersaHaul VH-55 RO Single Motorcycle Carrier with Ramp

The VH-55 RO is a hitch-mounted carrier for one motorcycle or dirt bike, rated for a load up to 500 lb. The included ramp stores on the carrier, and the package lists four retractable tie-down bars, a wheel stop, reflectors and an anti-rattle device. It fits a 2-inch Class III or IV receiver. The ramp-equipped setup has specific motorcycle-fit limits, so weight alone is not enough to choose this carrier.

Check Tire Width and Motorcycle Geometry

VersaHaul says the VH-55 ramp is for tires under 5.5 inches wide. The manufacturer also cautions that long motorcycles and scooters, including Gold Wing- and Burgman-type models, may not be weight-centered on the rail and should not be assumed compatible. Compare the bike's tire width, wheelbase, total length and loaded weight with VersaHaul's calculator and fit guidance. A motorcycle under 500 lb can still be the wrong shape for this carrier.

Loading and Tie-Downs

Position the carrier on a suitable receiver, secure the bike at the wheel stop and use the four retractable tie-down bars as directed. Loading requires the ramp and bike to be handled safely; plan for the motorcycle's balance and the operator's ability to guide it up and down. Inspect the ramp pin, wheel stop, bars, receiver connection and anti-rattle device before travel, then recheck the restraints after a short drive.

Vehicle, Hitch and Ground Clearance

Class III/IV hitch fit does not confirm the vehicle can carry the carrier and motorcycle. Check the hitch's tongue-weight rating, vehicle payload and rear suspension with the complete load, and account for the carrier's rear projection. Low receivers, recessed hitches and limited ground clearance can affect installation or ramp use; follow VersaHaul's setup instructions and vehicle load chart.

Returns and Ordering

Confirm motorcycle fit, tire width, receiver type and the vehicle's rear-load limit before ordering. Top Mobility lists a 20% restocking fee and return-shipping costs for eligible returns, with a return authorization required within 15 days of delivery; the item must be unused and in original packaging. Custom-made items are non-returnable. Review current return terms before purchase.

Limited Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY The Limited Warranty on the VersaHaul Carrier. BNK, INC warrants the carrier and related components. This warranty applies to any part found to be defective due to material and/or workmanship when inspected at the factory of BNK, Inc., Winamac, IN. BNK Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace defective parts to the original purchaser at no charge other than transportation. Sale receipt as proof of date of purchase is required, which will be returned. BNK, Inc. assumes no liabilty for labor charges made in performance of this warranty. The warranty periods are as follows from date of purchase:
CARRIER FOR 1 YEAR, VOID IF: frame is broken or bent due to abuse. example: (underside scraped abusively) ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF: the carrier has been rented, used under abnormal conditions, or subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance. All warranties should be handled at point of purchase unless other arrangements are made. BNK, Inc. is not liable for any damage claim or liability cliam, personal or otherwise resulting from operation of this carrier in any way.
All transportation charges for items returned for warranty evaluation and/or replacement are to be borne by the customer. For one (1) year from the date of purchase, BNK, Inc. will repair or replace for the original purchaser, without charge, any part or parts are manufactured by BNK, Inc. and found, upon examination at our factory in Winamac, to be defective in materials and/or workmanship. All transportation charges on parts submitted for replacement under this warranty must be borne by the purchaser. This warranty does not apply to parts not manufactured by BNK, Inc.
Their manufacturer may warrant these items. This warranty does not apply to any part which has been damaged by accident, alteration, abuse, improper adjustment, normal wear, or any other cause beyond our control. Use of replacement parts other than genuine BNK, Inc. parts may impair the safety of your machine and void this warranty. IMPORTANT THIS WARRANTY IS VOID UNLESS THE PRODUCT REGISTRATION CARD IS FILLED OUT COMPLETELY AND RETURNED TO THE FACTORY AT WINAMAC, IN. WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS OF PURCHASE. OUR WARRANTY COVERS OUR PRODUCT FOR ONE YEAR. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO EXCHANGE USED VERSAHAUL CARRIERS FOR REFUNDS OR NEW CARRIERS.

This unit is delivered via UPS or FedEx.

The following conditions apply:
  • This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • The product must be new and unused and in the original packaging.
  • All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned.
  • Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
  • Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
  • Custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needs are non-returnable.
  • An RA (Return Authorization) from Top Mobility must be requested within 15 days of delivery.
  • The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 15 days.
  • Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking and freight fees, will be issued to your original form of payment.
