VersaHaul VH-50CC Single Scooter Carrier
The VH-50CC is a hitch-mounted carrier for a small scooter or 50cc motorcycle, rated for a combined carrier load up to 250 lb. It has a 62-inch track, raised wheel stop and a separate 60-inch ramp that stores alongside the track. A 40 x 26-inch cargo deck provides room for gear, but its load counts toward the same overall capacity as the scooter. This carrier is sized for narrow tires; VersaHaul specifies tires under 4.27 inches wide.
Track, Ramp and Scooter Fit
Compare the scooter's loaded weight, tire width, wheelbase and overall length with the 62 x 4.5625-inch track. A scooter can meet the 250 lb limit and still be unsuitable if its tire is too wide or its length prevents safe weight placement. Use the loading ramp according to the instructions, position the wheels at the raised stop, and secure the scooter with suitable restraints. Account for any cargo carried on the adjacent deck within the carrier's load rating.
Hitch and Vehicle Limits
VersaHaul lists a Class III 2-inch stinger and an optional Class II 1 1/4-inch upgrade; confirm the selected adapter and receiver for the vehicle before ordering. The carrier and scooter add weight behind the vehicle, so check hitch tongue-weight, vehicle payload and rear-load limits together. Do not use a hitch extension or carry this unit on the rear of a fifth-wheel, camping or other tow-behind trailer. Follow the vehicle and carrier manuals for mounting and load limits.
Visibility, Storage and Returns
The carrier includes reflectors and an anti-tilt bracket. Inspect the receiver connection, ramp pin, wheel stop and restraints before travel, and account for the carrier's rear projection when parking or entering a garage. The ramp stores along the track when not in use. Top Mobility lists a 20% restocking fee and buyer-paid return shipping; a return authorization is required within 15 days, and eligible returns must be unused and in original packaging. Custom-made items are non-returnable.

Confirm the tire-width limit, loaded scooter and cargo weight, track fit, selected hitch adapter, vehicle ratings and loading clearance. The 250 lb rating applies to the total load carried, not 250 lb for the scooter plus additional gear.
