Liftup StairTrainer V2 Rehabilitation Trainer

The StairTrainer is a mobile, battery-powered training device that simulates stair climbing. Its adjustable step height lets a rehabilitation professional set a controlled challenge for gait, leg-strength and balance training. Liftup rates the V2 for a maximum lifting capacity of 180 kg (396 lb); this is training equipment, not a stairlift for transporting a seated user between floors.

Adjustable training and supervision

The display shows the current height setting. Adjust the height only when the unit is unoccupied, and follow the Liftup user manual and the participant's rehabilitation plan. The manual instructs users to stop and contact an authorized service technician if unexpected movement occurs. A therapist or trained caregiver should supervise use appropriate to the participant's needs.

Power, duty cycle and placement

The V2 is battery powered at 24V and has a 2-minute operating period followed by an 18-minute rest period. The unit weighs approximately 196 lb and measures about 64.5 in long, 31.5 in wide and 43.2 in high. It rolls between locations, but plan the route and turning space before moving it.
