Four-wheel capacity with tighter steering

The Victory 10 with EZ Turn brings Pride's tighter-turning technology to the four-wheel SC710. It is a full-size scooter with a 400-pound capacity, not a compact travel scooter dressed up with larger tires. The 45.5-inch turning radius helps when navigating indoor destinations, while the four-wheel layout appeals to riders who prefer that footprint for ordinary paved outings.

At 47 inches long and 22.25 inches wide, it still needs meaningful space at home and beside a vehicle. EZ Turn reduces the steering compromise of a conventional four-wheel scooter; it does not make its body smaller or remove the need to slow at corners. Check where you must turn and park, not merely whether the scooter can pass through the widest doorway on the route.

The 63-pound lift is the transport reality

Feather-touch disassembly allows the scooter to be separated for transport, but the heaviest front section weighs 63 pounds. That is a substantial lift over a trunk edge, especially when the cargo floor is deep. The standard seat weighs 28 pounds and the batteries create additional handling tasks. A compatible vehicle lift or another person's help may be more useful than relying on disassembly alone.

The scooter weighs 137 pounds without batteries, approximately 185 pounds with U1 batteries and 201 pounds with the optional 40Ah pair. Use the selected assembled weight when planning lift capacity, and the individual component weights when planning manual loading. Larger batteries do not change the dimensions of the front frame, but they increase the total transport load. Try the intended routine with the actual vehicle before making independent lifting central to the purchase decision.

Seat adjustments make the footprint more usable

The 18-by-17-inch standard seat combines an eight-position swivel, sliders and a pinchless hinge. The swivel helps orient the seat for transfers, while sliders change the distance to the tiller. A seat-to-deck height range of 17.5 to 19 inches adds another fit adjustment. These features work together, so check back support, knee position and hand reach with the seat set for driving.

Alternative high-back seats and other dimensions are optional, not standard equipment on every SC710. The delta tiller provides wraparound hand positions, with an easy-grip knob for angle adjustment. A tiller-mounted charger port reduces the need to reach down toward the batteries. The ambient voltmeter offers a visible charge indication, although it should not be read as an exact number of miles still available.

Battery options and the stopping arrangement

The published maximum range is up to 15.5 miles, with speed up to 5.3 mph. The standard two-U1 battery arrangement and optional 40Ah pair should be chosen around the route and the extra transport weight. Actual distance changes with rider load, inclines, stop-start use and battery condition. Plan enough charge for the whole outing, including a margin for detours and the return to the vehicle.

The brochure specifies a 3.5-amp off-board charger for U1 batteries and a 5-amp unit for the 40Ah option. Use the matching charger and follow the battery routine consistently. Regenerative and electromechanical braking are part of the drivetrain specification. Practice stopping at low speed before relying on the scooter around pedestrians, and treat the maximum speed as an upper capability rather than an appropriate pace for every setting.

Large solid tires are not a suspended chassis

The standard front basket and LED pathway light provide useful everyday equipment. Rear baskets, mirrors, carrying holders and upgraded seats are separate accessory choices. Solid 10-inch non-scuffing tires avoid routine inflation, but the Victory 10 has no suspension. That distinction matters on repeatedly uneven pavement and separates this model from the suspended Victory Platinum.

Motor clearance is 2 inches and anti-tip clearance is 1.5 inches, despite a higher side-deck measurement. Abrupt curb edges, ruts and loose-ground shortcuts remain poor matches for the underbody. Maintained paths and accessible entrances let the scooter's capacity, seating adjustment and improved turning work to better effect. The SC710 is a practical full-size choice when four-wheel maneuvering matters, provided its 63-pound front-section lift and nonsuspended ride are acceptable parts of ownership.
