Pride Revo 2.0 S66 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter
This FDA Class II medical device is designed to aid individuals with mobility impairments. Specifications may change, and speed and range vary with rider load, terrain and battery condition. HCPCS references do not guarantee reimbursement.
A travel scooter with a heavier-duty character
The three-wheel Revo 2.0 S66 occupies a useful space between small boot scooters and larger full-size machines. A 400-pound capacity, 20-by-18-inch seat and front and rear suspension give it more substance than a basic compact travel scooter, while component disassembly still makes vehicle transport possible. Its appeal is not minimum weight; it is keeping travel flexibility while gaining room and ride-comfort equipment.
The three-wheel layout provides a 40-inch turning radius in a chassis 46 inches long and 20.75 inches wide. That is the relevant distinction from the four-wheel S67, which needs more turning space and has a heavier front section. A rider choosing the S66 should value the maneuvering benefit while remaining deliberate about cornering speed and avoiding sloping or uneven turns.
Disassembling does not make it a lightweight scooter
The complete S66 weighs 120 pounds without batteries and 170 pounds with them. Its heaviest component is the 48-pound rear section, not the front frame. That detail matters when planning the lift into a vehicle: compare your ability with the rear section's shape and carrying position rather than assuming the part that looks largest is the part that weighs most.
The two U1 batteries weigh approximately 25 pounds each. They add substantial weight to an assembled transport setup, although separating components reduces individual loads. Feather-touch disassembly is useful for car travel, but the owner still needs space, grip and a reliable reassembly routine. Accessible tie-down points are intended for transporting the unoccupied scooter; they do not turn it into an approved seat for riding inside a vehicle.
Roomier seating and a supported hand position
The 20-inch-wide, 18-inch-deep compact folding seat gives more cushion area than many 17-inch-square travel seats. Seat-to-deck height ranges from 15 to 16.5 inches, so thigh support and knee position should be checked together. A larger cushion can be welcome on longer errands, but riders needing specialized postural support should not equate more width with a complete seating solution.
The ergonomic delta tiller and easy-grip adjustment knob help position the controls at a comfortable reach. The console includes a USB mobile-device charging port, useful for maintaining a phone during an outing without changing the scooter's driving range. Releasing the throttle engages the brakes. Freewheel mode is only for pushing with the braking system disengaged, and the lever needs to be returned to drive mode before use.
Two range numbers for two rider loads
Pride lists up to 17.4 miles per charge at 200 pounds and up to 12.8 miles at 400 pounds. Both belong to the S66's U1 battery configuration. These conditions make the range more meaningful than quoting 17.4 miles alone: a heavily loaded scooter on a demanding route should not be expected to match the lighter-rider result. Top speed is up to 5.2 mph.
The 3.5-amp off-board charger allows the batteries to be charged on or off the scooter. Plan the charging location around where the scooter is actually stored, and use the intended charger for the deep-cycle battery arrangement. Hills, repeated stops, battery condition and the extra distance inside large destinations can change how much reserve remains. A comfortable seat and suspension may encourage longer outings, making a conservative return-trip plan especially important.
Suspension helps, but clearance still governs
The front basket, LED headlight and rear bumper are standard features in Pride's description. Additional holders or storage accessories remain separate choices. CTS front and rear suspension helps manage everyday surface irregularities, while solid non-scuffing tires remove routine inflation checks. Those benefits suit accessible paths and mixed indoor/outdoor errands better than they suit aggressive off-road use.
The 8-inch front and 9-inch rear wheels sit above a transaxle with just 1.25 inches of clearance, despite the higher 3.25-inch mid-frame measurement. Avoid judging obstacle ability from deck height alone. Loose gravel, deep ruts and abrupt curb edges are not good shortcuts for this travel-oriented machine. The S66 is persuasive for riders needing a roomier seat and suspension with three-wheel maneuverability, provided its 48-pound component lift and heavier battery handling are realistic parts of the transport plan.
