Healthline EZee Life Model 150 Non-Tilt Shower Commode
The Model 150 is the compact, non-tilt member of Healthline's EZee Life rehab shower-commode range. It has a 15 x 15 in seat, padded seat/back/arm supports and an aluminum frame. The exact-model specification lists a 286 lb user capacity. The seat opening and included insert support commode use; the frame can also be positioned over a suitable toilet for showering and toileting routines.
Choose the wheel setup
The standard configuration uses 5 in locking swivel casters. Top Mobility offers optional 22 in rear wheels for self-propelling; select and confirm that upgrade when ordering. Flip-back arms can help with side transfers, and the swing-away footrests adjust for leg position. The seat belt and removable anti-tippers are part of the listed configuration. A commode bucket is shown as an optional upgrade, so confirm whether it is included in your order.
Fit and safe use
Compare the 15 x 15 in seat and chair dimensions with the user's fit and bathroom clearances before ordering. The EZee Life manual says a caregiver should remain behind the chair during transfers and showering, the wheel locks should be engaged before transfers, and the footplates are not for standing. Locking casters secure the chair when stationary; they are not travel brakes. Follow the supplied setup, cleaning and inspection instructions.
