Feather Transport Wheelchair

This folding transport wheelchair weighs 13 lb and supports up to 300 lb. Swing-away footrests and locking brakes are listed as standard features; optional attendant handbrakes are available. Confirm whether the handbrake option is selected on the order, since the no-handbrake and handbrake versions are configured differently.

Transfers and attendant control

Move the footrests clear for transfers and engage the wheel locks before the user sits or stands. When moving the chair with a seated user, the attendant should follow the supplied instructions for pushing and braking.

Fit and transport

The frame folds for storage, and the seller describes the chair as arriving assembled. Confirm seat fit, doorway clearance and vehicle space with the seller before ordering; check the folded chair and footrests fit the planned storage area. Keep the user's weight within the 300 lb maximum.

Warranty Information

Warranty Information

The Feather Transport wheelchair comes with a limited warranty and the following coverage:

• Frame: The manufacturer covers the frame of its mobility chair under normal use for a period of 1 year (12 months). The manufacturer will at its sole discretion, repair or replace, any warrantable frame that fails within the warranty period.

• Wearable Parts: The manufacturer will at its sole discretion, repair or replace, any wearable parts for a period up to 6 months.

The warranties herein specified shall not apply if the failure of any component of this product to satisfy such warranty is due to accident, neglect, misuse, improper transportation arranged by the purchaser or its agent, or causes other than ordinary use including operation contrary to the manufacturer's operating instructions or if any person other than the manufacturer's authorized personnel shall modify, adjust, or repair such product or perform any related service on it. It must be understood that the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the overall safe operation in the environment for which the product is intended to function.

Warranty Exclusions

The manufacturer will not be responsible for,

• Repairs or modifications made to any part or section of the wheelchair product without specific prior written consent from the manufacturer.

• Circumstances beyond the control of the manufacturer.

• And fees associated with or caused by service, labor, service calls, shipping, or other charges incurred for repair of the product unless specifically authorized in advance by the manufacturer.

• Any damage caused by: abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence of the wheelchair product; improper operation, maintenance, or storage of the wheelchair product; or any commercial use of the wheelchair product.

Shipping / Returns Information

This unit is delivered via UPS or FedEx.

The following conditions apply:
  • This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • The product must be new and unused and in the original packaging.
  • All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned.
  • Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
  • Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
  • Custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needs are non-returnable.
  • An RA (Return Authorization) from Top Mobility must be requested within 15 days of delivery.
  • The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 15 days.
  • Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking and freight fees, will be issued to your original form of payment.
