EZRide+ Wheelchair Power Assist
The EZRide+ is a front-mounted power-assist attachment for compatible foldable manual wheelchairs. The wheelchair is not included. The attachment weighs about 30 lb and is rated for riders up to 300 lb in addition to the wheelchair's weight.
Check fit before ordering
The seller lists compatibility with most foldable wheelchairs measuring 14 to 22 inches at the fitting point. Measure your chair and confirm the frame and tow-bar mounting geometry with the seller; optional struts may be needed when the standard tow bar is too wide. Fitment is not universal, and the wheelchair must remain within its own weight and use limits.
Controls and battery
Handlebar controls provide forward and reverse, horn, headlight and a speed/power display. The available speed settings are 3, 6 and 12 mph; cruise control is optional. The 36 V, 10 Ah lithium-ion battery takes about four hours to charge. The listed 12–15 mile range is approximate and will vary with rider and wheelchair weight, route, surface and operating conditions.
Use and terrain
The attachment folds for storage and uses an 8-inch solid tire. Top Mobility describes use on rough terrain but specifically advises against sand and loose gravel; check the owner's instructions for suitable surfaces and operating limits. Confirm safe control access and brake operation with the fitted wheelchair before riding.

Warranty
Your EZRIDE+ (“Product”) is warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”) when used in accordance with Product user manual (refer to the Assembly page on this site). Under this warranty, if a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Shield Innovations LLC , at its option will (1) repair the Product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or provide the user with replacement parts. Customers are responsible for freight charges on replacement parts. (2) exchange the Product with a product with equivalent functionality formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. Customer is responsible for return freight to our warehouse on warranty repair. This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts such as batteries, tires, brakes unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship, and damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship.
