The Model 170 combines a shower commode frame with caregiver-controlled tilt and recline. Its rust-resistant aluminum frame weighs 46.5 lb and has a 286 lb maximum user capacity. A safety belt and adjustable headrest are included.

Positioning and transfers

Flip-up armrests support side access, while the back and padded leg supports can be adjusted for positioning. Four locking casters secure the chair when parked. Engage the caster locks before transfers and follow the supplied instructions when using the tilt/recline controls; this product is intended for caregiver-assisted positioning.
