Protekt Aire 9900 Low Air Loss Mattress System

The Protekt Aire 9900 combines continuous low-air-loss airflow with alternating pressure and pulsation. Proactive specifies a maximum weight capacity of 1,000 lb. Its cell-on-cell design is intended to help prevent bottoming out during a power failure, and the automatic Fowler function adjusts airflow when the bed is raised. A control-panel lock and audible/visual low-pressure and power-outage alarms are also listed by the manufacturer.

Choose the exact mattress configuration

Proactive lists complete-system sizes from 36 × 80 in through 60 × 80 in, a 36 × 84 in system, foam raised-rail variants, and side-air-bolster variants. The mattress-only and pump-only items are separate replacement products, not complete systems. Confirm the Proactive item number and complete-system contents on the quote before ordering. The current Top Mobility selector links some standard sizes to Aire 8000 products and omits listed Aire 9900 configurations; do not rely on a size label alone until the linked item number is verified.

Clinical setup and care

The alternating-pressure cycle offers 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minute settings. A clinician should select the therapy settings and compatible mattress configuration for the care plan. Confirm bed dimensions, power/control setup, rail choice and mattress fit before use, and follow the supplied Proactive manual and cleaning instructions.

This unit is delivered via UPS or FedEx.

The following conditions apply:
  • This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • The product must be new and unused and in the original packaging.
  • All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned.
  • Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
  • Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
  • Custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needs are non-returnable.
  • An RA (Return Authorization) from Top Mobility must be requested within 15 days of delivery.
  • The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 15 days.
