Proactive Protekt Aire 5000DX Mattress System
The Protekt® Aire 5000DX combines low-air-loss and alternating-pressure therapy in a mattress system with a digital pump and a 3-inch densified-fiber support base. Adjustable weight settings let caregivers set pressure for the patient's care requirements, while the preset 10-minute cycle alternates pressure. Static mode provides a firm, non-alternating surface for transfers.
Digital pump and airflow
The pump includes an audible and visual low-pressure alarm to indicate when airflow may be compromised. Eighteen laser-cut air holes support low-air-loss airflow across the mattress surface. The static head section helps limit unnecessary head and neck movement.
Mattress and configuration
The standard system measures 36 x 80 x 8 inches and includes a fluid-resistant, quilted nylon cover over a 3-inch densified-fiber base. A raised-rail configuration is also available; verify the selected option and bed compatibility before ordering. Maximum weight capacity: 400 lb.
Setup and care
