AccessDeck 4 ft x 6 ft Ground Accessibility Panel
Sand, mud, and other unstable ground can make a route difficult to use. AccessDeck is a rigid high-density polyethylene (HDPE) panel system designed to form a temporary or permanent pathway for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Its rigid construction is different from a roll-out fabric beach mat, so plan for panel handling, connections, and the route layout before ordering.
Choose the tread face for the traffic
Each panel has an integrated tread pattern on both faces. AccessRec describes one face as a non-slip surface for wheelchair and pedestrian access, with traction for vehicles or equipment. The reverse face provides additional grip against the ground and is intended for larger vehicle traffic, including ATVs and machinery. The best orientation depends on the traffic and surface at the installation site.
Panel dimensions and connection planning
A standard panel measures 4 ft x 6 ft and is 0.5 in thick. At 69 lb per panel, it takes more planning to unload and position than a lightweight roll mat; AccessRec says installation and removal require no tools or machinery and no more than two people. Four corner holes and six additional holes allow panels to be connected in different configurations. Confirm which connectors or accessories are included for the route you are building before ordering.
Material, capacity, and outdoor use
The manufacturer identifies HDPE construction with UV-protective additives and describes the material as weather- and chemical-resistant, easy to clean, and resistant to warping, rot, cracking, and delamination. AccessRec states that AccessDeck handles loads up to 80 tons. Treat that as the manufacturer's rating, not a substitute for checking the ground, support, connections, transitions, and installation guidance for your particular site and intended traffic.
AccessRec lists a six-year warranty; review the manufacturer’s terms for coverage. For a beach or outdoor path, measure the needed route and plan how panels will be carried, joined, and removed. The panel dimensions and 69 lb weight are especially relevant when access is narrow or frequent repositioning is expected.

Damage caused by vandalism or usage other than that which the product is intended for use shall not be included in this warranty. Accessories are not covered under the warranty.
