TerraWheels TW-4 Beach Wheelchair

The TerraWheels TW-4 is an all-terrain beach wheelchair with an aluminum and stainless-steel frame, a 300 lb user capacity and a 22 by 20 inch seat. Its backrest reclines and folds, and a front-wheel brake system helps secure the chair when stationary.

Plan for transfers and vehicle loading

The chair weighs about 88 lb. The folding backrest reduces bulk for storage, but it does not make the complete chair lightweight to lift; measure the vehicle opening and arrange suitable assistance for loading. Confirm that the seat dimensions and overall chair width fit the intended user and access route.

Beach use and attendant effort

Soft sand and uneven ground can require substantial pushing effort, particularly with a heavier rider. Check the route and available assistance before heading onto sand, and do not interpret “all-terrain” as effortless travel across every surface. Engage the brakes when parked and follow the supplied instructions for transfers and positioning.

ACCESSREC, LLC offers a five (5) year limited warranty from the date of purchase covering defects in materials or workmanship to the wheelchair frame only, all exceptions to this warranty are listed below. The limited one (5) year warranty does not include the cover seat material, armrests, footrests, waist belt, or tires, which are covered by a two (2) year warranty. All limitations of the warranty will be assessed by ACCESSREC, LLC.

The five (5) year limited warranty does not cover damage to the wheelchair frame due to:

Normal wear and tear;
Improper care, operation, maintenance or storage of the wheelchair;
An accident or natural disaster;
Modifications that have been made to the wheelchair without written consent of ACCESSREC, LLC; and/or
Repairs that have been made without written consent of ACCESSREC, LLC

This warranty does not cover any labor or shipping charges that may be required if a wheelchair frame needs to be replaced or repaired. For any services that are needed under this warranty, please contact your distributor or wholesaler. If you are not satisfied with the conditions provided or repairs that have been made, please contact ACCESSREC, LLC directly. Products may not be returned without consent from ACCESSREC, LLC. The one (5) year limited warranty is applicable to the original purchaser only.
