The Extreme X8 is the flagship wheelchair in the Magic Mobility range. The Extreme X8 is the most compact 4WD wheelchair on the market. The Extreme X8 is the next generation 4x4 power wheelchair expertly customized for you. Go where no other power wheelchair could go before!

The Extreme X8 is the most compact 4WD wheelchair on the market. This All-Terrain, electric wheelchair now offers a fully integrated power seating system. This includes a 12" seat elevator, 50 degrees tilt-in-space, non-shearing recline, and single piece power elevating leg rest.

This is the lightest power seating system available on the market. The X8 can be equipped with our MPS seat, MPS seat back with solid seat pan, or full rehab seating.

The Extreme X8 4X4 offers freedom only dreamt of by most everyday wheelchair users. Even though urban areas continue to add wheelchair accessible curb cuts, ramps and lifts, those confined to wheelchairs are still excluded from some of our country’s most interesting shopping and public amenities, not to mention our beautiful parks, nature habitats and beaches. That can all change with an all terrain powerchair from Magic Mobility.

The X8 is no ordinary power wheelchair. Locations previously unavailable to other wheelchairs are now available to the drivers of the Extreme. The X8 will thrill all who make the decision to take control. It will be your partner to just about any destination through snow, sand, soft, wet ground, rocks and pebbles, and even slippery surfaces. Simply, no other power wheelchair comes close to the performance of the Extreme 4x4 on all terrains. With an increased top speed of 6.2 miles per hour. it can handle terrain some say is impossible.

Note: Starting price does not include the seating system or batteries.

Within 1 hour of delivery I was in the bush and on the beach! A dream come true and probably one of the best feelings I’ve ever had, absolute freedom.

An excellent product. I have had it about 4 years now and this year was the 1st time I get stuck in the mud but it was only because I had inflated the tires previously and forgot have needed to deflate those for mud. It was a freshly planted, very wet cornfield so it was quite soupy. Otherwise, I have only been hung up on logs that were really too big to climb over, about 8 to 10 inches through.
The chair is "extremely" fun. It is fast, it is powerful, it rides well and the passive steering wheel bail you out of trouble. I thought I was going to tip over many times but the articulating frame saves you from a face full of mud. He will climb a pretty steep hill more than the 14 to 1 that is recommended. It will climb curbs. Maneuvers nice outdoors but not so much indoors. I tried the elevator seat option and I felt too top heavy. Even though it did not tip over (thought I was a few times and so did the people with me), it was a bit unnerving for all. I have been in almost every train you can think of. One winter in heavy snow, I pulled an 11-year-old and a 10-year-old around in a sled for about an hour. They both had a great time and so did I. I put all of my hunting equipment in a sled and pull it to my hunting spot.
I think the only thing that I don't like about it is that I can't drive it every day all day but that's only because I work in an office building.
It does fit in my minivan but I have to drive in and set crossways the whole trip. Not that much fun but it does work. I have the recliner option and drive it with a sip and puff control.
If you buy this product, you won't only NOT be disappointed… You will be absolutely amazed where you can go and what you can do. I am hard on my chairs and it is not broken.
If you are transporting it in a minivan, I would recommend the locking mechanism for the front wheels so you can back straight up when getting back out of the van. The front wheels tend to turn where they want when backing up. So the lock helps keep you from getting hung up inside the van.
I have hardwood floors throughout my house and with the locking mechanism and I can turn around easily by spinning the back wheels. Oh, I also hunt all over Michigan so I have been on all terrains.
