Powered Exterior Power Chair Lifts

  • No modifications needed to your power chair
  • No vehicle modifications needed

  • Requires Class II or III hitch (install required)
  • No heavy lifting
  • Works best with minivans

The most quick and easy way to transport your electric wheelchair. With powered exterior lifts, you simply drive onto the platform, and the lift does the rest for you! You will need a professional install that attaches the lift to your vehicle hitch. When your powered exterior lift is not in use, it folds up conveniently against the back of your van. The ultimate in power and ease.

Power Hybrid Power Chair Lifts

  • Protects your power chair from all weather conditions
  • No modifications needed to your power chair
  • Requires vehicle modifications
  • No hitch required
  • No heavy lifting
  • Works best with minivans

A true hybrid of options and convenience. Powered hybrid lifts conveniently place your power chair inside the back of your vehicle for you. Simply drive up to the platform, and the lift does the rest for you! The platform lifts the power chair up and into your vehicle. Professional installation required. In most cases, you will lose the third row seating of your van in order to make room for the platform and chair. These convenient auto lifts are designed to keep your mobility device dry and safe from rain, dust, snow, and inclement weather. A great power chair lift option for the van owner.

Powered Interior Power Chair Lifts

  • Protects your power chair from all weather conditions
  • Modifications required to your power chair
  • Slight vehicle modifications required

  • No hitch required

  • No heavy lifting
  • Works best with minivans

Perfect if you are looking for an interior lift with minimal vehicle modifications. Powered interior lifts use less space than hybrid lifts and are installed in the rear corner of your vehicle. Holes may need to be drilled in the floor of your vehicle, and seating modifications may be necessary. A docking device is installed under the seat of your power chair and hooks directly onto the powered interior lift. These "boom lifts" raise your power chair into the vehicle for you. Some powered interior lifts can be installed on passenger cars or pickup trucks, but always check before you buy. Ultimate protection against rust and weather.

Manual Exterior Power Chair Lifts

  • No modifications needed to your power chair
  • No vehicle modifications required
  • May require Class II or III hitch
  • Some lifting required
  • Compatible with most vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUV's

The most affordable and easy option for the power chair owner. Manual exterior lifts don't require any modifications to your vehicle or power chair. These manual lifts feature an unfolding ramp that allows you to place your power chair on the platform. You or your loved one will have to walk your power chair up the ramp. You cannot drive your mobility device up the ramp. Once the chair is safely secured on the platform, simply fold the ramp up and go! Most manual exterior lifts conveniently fold up against the back of your vehicle when not in use.

Before You Buy

Not all applications are suitable for all vehicles. Some lifts are not compatible with SUV's and pickup trucks due to elevated ground clearance and height. Most vehicle lifts cannot be installed on passenger cars. Hybrid cars are NOT compatible with any vehicle lifts. Call us before purchasing your new power lift to ensure vehicle compatibility.

Don't forget to check out the Mobility Reimbursement Program where you can be reimbursed up to $1,000 by your vehicle manufacturer when installing mobility adaptive equipment on your new vehicle.
