Customer Review: We bought one of these for my husband in March 2014 and we love it! We have flown with it several times. We have no trouble going through security and he drives it right up to the door of the plane, where it is gate checked. It is waiting for us when we deplane. We also just load it in the back of our car(a med size hatchback) and take it with us on road trips to Las Vegas and to go shopping. No lift needed. So convenient. It folds to the size is a rolling suitcase and can be rolled like one. Very easy to fold and unfold. We get comments and questions wherever we go and highly recommend it.

Customer Review: Tony, Thought you'd like to know what a hit the Solax Mobie (Foldable Scooter that I purchased on Feb 4, 2015) was. Starting early April, we stayed two weeks in Hong Kong, then took a cruise to Japan and China, then across the Pacific to Alaska, finishing in Vancouver, British Columbia. We purchased the scooter mainly because of our plans to tour Tienamen Square (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square) and the Forbidden City (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbidden_City) in China, and Hong Kong Disneyland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_Disneyland). There is no way I could have walked (or used my walker) on the Forbidden City tour. We walked (or, in my case, rode my scooter) for a couple of hours. There were steep inclines (up and down), and uneven bricks to ride over. The scooter handled all of them. One of our party was being pushed in a wheelchair, and the small front wheels of the wheelchair kept getting stuck in the spaces between the bricks, or hanging up on the raised ridges on the bricks. The scooter had no problem with any of them. And the battery indicator on the handle area never dropped below fully charged. When I tour Disney World in the States, I rent a scooter. But there was no indication that I could do so at Hong Kong Disney, so this was another factor in our buying the scooter. And it turned out, even if I could have rented a scooter, it was so far from the parking area to the park entrance that I couldn't have walked it anyway. Apparently in China and Japan people are not used to seeing (or using) wheelchairs or scooters. At Hong Kong Disney, we spoke to a management person who started a conversation with us halfway through our visit. She told us that when we entered the park, employees were told there was a scooter in the park. (Presumably so they could provide any help that might be necessary.) We saw a couple of wheelchairs, and no other scooters. The same was true in Tienamen Square and the Forbidden City, and at the Great Wall (http://www.chinahighlights.com/greatwall/section/badaling-greatwall.htm) there were very few people using scooters or wheelchairs. And throughout the trip, people were very curious. One man (German I believe) in Hong Kong, at our hotel, was interested in purchasing one, and took a number of pictures. (His English wasn't very good, and my German is nonexistent, so we communicated mainly via gestures.) We changed hotels halfway through our Hong Kong stay, and the taxi driver took pictures of my folding and unfolding the scooter. On the cruise ship, the folded scooter fit nicely in our cabin. Once unfolded, it negotiated the hallways without a problem. The waiters at our table during dinner were eager to drive it (to and from an area near the front, away from the table). When we left the ship for shore excursions, and returned, a number of the crew were eager to watch the scooter. Sometimes I drove it up or down the gangway; when it was too steep to do that I folded it and unfolded it. Once I heard several of the crew say something to the effect "I see that guy again he's coming back to the ship." Another time they made reference to "Transformers" when I folded and unfolded the scooter. We have cruised before, and I although I frequently (not always) can walk to dinner, by the time dinner is over (around 10 PM) I have had to use a walker to get back to the cabin. And during the day, depending on how my medication is working, I often have had to use a walker to get around the ship. So on this cruise I used the scooter most of the time when I moved around the ship. So I didn't have to wait for my medication to take effect, or mentally prepare myself to struggle with a walker I just went where I wanted to go. When I first received the scooter, I charged the battery. Then I swapped it out, put in the spare, and charged that. The original battery came in and out easily, but the spare was a pretty snug fit. I had to smack it fairly hard several times (with my hand, nothing else) to get it to fit in. But it did and seemed to work well. But when I tried to take it out, I couldn't do it. At this point we were ready to go on our trip, so we just took the scooter with the spare installed, and took the original battery also. During the trip, I tried several times to take out the spare, but couldn't do it. I even broke the strap (that you pull on to get the battery out). Now I'm fairly strong, but no Schwarzenegger. So this concerned me. And toward the end of the trip, on the ship, the number of lines on the display dropped by the evening, and the display even started blinking. So I'm concerned that the spare battery isn't holding a charge as well as it used to. And one of the armrests broke off. So I'd like to see whether other people have had similar problems with the spare batteries (and exchange it if it's defective provided I can get it out), and see about the armrest. I'd be interested in hearing if other people traveling to that part of the World have had similar experiences with curious people. Or if anyone else has toured the Forbidden City, with such a good result.
