Lift chairs are designed to assist users when rising from a seated position. They offer the added benefit of an electric recline mechanism, including footboard raise and are available as either a standard single motor - one control operating the reclining of the seat back whilst simultaneously raising the footboard, or as dual motor which has independent controls for each feature.
